A limited number of partial and full scholarships are available. They are determined through the analysis of a family’s financial resources, including income and assets. To determine awards, our financial aid committee evaluates financial information based on the needs analysis system of the School and Student Services (SSS) for Financial Assistance, a service of the National Association of Independent Schools.  SSS provides MISS Academy with a Report of Family Contribution which is used as a guide for scholarship allocation.

Please note the deadline for our scholarship applications for each Programs, listed here. We will communicate our financial aid decision to you. To make our decision, we use the information from the PFS as a starting point but also consider our school policy, practices, and available budget.

To begin your scholarship application, please follow the steps below:

4. You will be given a username and password that will allow you to return to your PFS at a later date before submitting it. Your information will be secure.

5. After you have pressed submit, you’ll be brought to a payment screen. The fee of $48 is nonrefundable. Once your PFS is submitted, it cannot be withdrawn from the SSS system.

  • MISS Academy offers a sibling discount to families who have two or more siblings enrolled concurrently at the Academy.
    • Families with two students at the Academy receive a 10% discount on the younger student. Families with three students at the Academy receive a 10% discount on the second student and a 15% discount on the third student. Families with more than three students at the Academy will be considered individually by the Academy Director.
    • If one sibling discontinues the program or is dismissed, the discount is no longer valid and the discounted percentage will be added to the currently enrolled sibling’s balance.
    • For students on payment plans, the discount will be applied on the last payment installment.

Additional Costs:

Students ages 13 and up will be required to purchase a MISS Academy Makeup Brush set. Prices and sets vary depending on age group. More information will be provided in the acceptance package.


Payment policy

  • Tuition is payable in full on or before one week prior to program start date, unless a payment plan is selected.
  • A non-­refundable deposit is required to hold a student’s spot in the program and will be deducted from the total tuition.
  • For Payment Plans:
    • Once the deposit made, the remaining balance can be paid in full or divided into equal monthly payments if a payment plan is selected.
    • A financing fee of 5% of the tuition amount will be applied.
    • You will be enrolled in our automatic debit program, in which payments will be automatically debited from the banking account or credit card on file, once a month, on a pre-specified date.
    • Payment dates will be given during your MISS consultation.
    • Payments not received by the due date will be considered delinquent and the student will only be allowed to resume classes, once payments are made current.
  • MISS Academy only accepts debit, credit, money orders, personal checks and gift certificates for deposits or tuition paid in full.
  • Please note that a 2.6% convenience fee will be added to each credit card transaction.
  • MISS Academy does not accept cash.
  • There is a $30 fee for returned checks.

Cancellation and refund policy

  • Seats in the classes are based on availability and require a letter of acceptance from the Academy as well as a deposit to secure your seat in the program.
  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • A student’s registration can be transferred to another class time or day with one week’s notice, based on availability. If no classes are available, the student can choose a later start date for their program.
  • Deposits/payments cannot be transferred to another student.
  • MISS Academy does not pro-rate classes.
  • If there is a need to cancel registration for any reason, one week prior to the start date of the class, MISS Academy will process a refund less the deposit within 10 business days.
  • If you need to discontinue classes for any reason, written notice is required and a refund (if applicable) will be issued within 10 business days of receiving the notice.

Important notice

Your refund will be based on the amount of tuition and fees charged. It is not based on the amount you have actually paid.

For example: You have enrolled in a program with a tuition fee of $500. You withdraw during the 50% withdrawal period. The Academy is owed $250 at this time.

  1.  If you had paid $250 at this time, you would receive no refund.
  2.  If you had only paid $150 at this time, you would still owe the Academy $100.
  3.  If you had paid $500 at this time, $250 would then be refunded to you.
